Gorehounds were shaped in Portland towards the finish of 1985 . The band’s initial gig was at Geno’s during Jordan’s Undead 30th B-Day Celebration . The rope used the “Electric Jug” receptive to advice similar to the 13th Floor Elevators did in the 1960’s . They were a reduction of Punk Stone, 60’s Garage, and 60’s Psychedelia . In 1985-87 The Gorehounds place was well known as THE GORE MANOR . Lots of punks, bands, and fans stayed there and partied . This was one ruin of a furious and funny time . Lots of damaged drink bottles, unwashed needles, pot smokin, crack stinkin, and slice roarin mentalness . In the winter the residence was so cold which H2O used to freeze in the sinks and toilets . Rats were vital in my cot . And the refigerator was not to be non-stop solely for some-more BEER . there were punk flyers and grafitti all over the place . It was the most appropriate and misfortune of times . When we eventually sunk it was to strike stone bottom.. . While the rope was around it was an strange action which played around the NE Coast and Canada as well . There was regularly a celebration after a night out at Geno’s the hip place to cling to for cool song afterwards . Geno’s is still around with live song .
